The Epic Games Store is now available on iPhones in the European Union and Android devices worldwide, featuring Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe, and Fall Guys for mobile. The store also launches on AltStore, with plans to expand to more platforms. Epic continues to challenge Apple and Google's restrictions.
The Epic Games Store is now available for download on iPhones in the European Union and on Android devices worldwide. The store is launching with Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe and the all-new Fall Guys for mobile, and we are working to enable all developers to launch their games and apps through the Epic Games Store in the future. We are also bringing our games to independent mobile stores including AltStore PAL.
The Epic Games Store for iPhones in the European Union and Android worldwide
Don’t forget, Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 5, Season 4: Absolute Doom launched on August 16th, which you’ll be able to enjoy on mobile and across all other platforms.
We’re launching on iOS devices in the European Union thanks to the Digital Markets Act, but Apple is still blocking all other iOS users outside of Europe from accessing Fortnite and Epic Games Store for iOS.
For now, the process of installing the Epic Games Store on iOS and Android is lengthy due to Apple and Google introducing intentionally poor-quality install experiences laden by multiple steps, confusing device settings, and scare screens. We are continuing to fight in courts and work with regulators around the globe to eliminate the anticompetitive terms that Apple and Google impose on developers and consumers, so we can build a better store for everyone.
Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe and Fall Guys on Third Party App Stores
We are partnering with third party mobile app stores to bring our games to any marketplace offering great terms for all developers. We’re starting by launching our games on AltStore PAL for iOS users in the European Union. We also plan to bring our games to Aptoide’s iOS store in the EU and ONE Store on Android. We look forward to bringing our games to other stores around the world.
"The tide is turning and the mobile ecosystem is finally opening up to competition. We are grateful to the European Commission for making it possible to launch the Epic Games Store and offer our games to iOS users in the European Union. Now European iOS users and all Android users can access our store and games, as they've always been able to do on open platforms like PC and Mac. The fight is far from over, but this is tangible progress for developers and consumers who can begin to benefit from competition and choice," said Tim Sweeney, CEO and Founder, Epic Games.
Epic Games Store on iOS and Android
The Epic Games Store has arrived on mobile, putting Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe at your fingertips - on Android devices worldwide and on iOS in the European Union thanks to the Digital Markets Act (DMA).
For the first time ever, Fall Guys is available on mobile, and is downloadable for free on the Epic Games Store! This is the full Fall Guys experience, as fun as it always has bean, but now in the palm of your hands. Play with anyone, anywhere, with crossplay across PC, console, and mobile, complete with cross-progression.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, we’re offering exciting new rewards. If you download and install the Epic Games Store and our games on mobile now, you’ll find in-game challenges in all three games that reward players with cosmetics that include a brand new Fortnite outfit and matching back bling, pickaxe and wrap; a brand new Fall Guys bean costume; a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe usable in Fortnite; and a gold vehicle trim that can be used immediately in Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe, and soon in Rocket League. Quests and challenges are visible on all platforms but can only be completed in-game on a mobile device (dedicated streaming services on mobile devices don't qualify).
Players can unlock these in-game rewards after downloading our games from the Epic Games Store on mobile and AltStore PAL on iOS in the European Union. We’re working to bring our games to stores that offer great terms for all developers, and these rewards will also be available when our games are downloaded from other mobile stores through November 2. We also plan to bring our games to Aptoide’s iOS store in the EU and ONE Store on Android.
It takes a number of steps to download the Epic Games Store, which was an intentional design choice by Apple and Google to make it hard to download competing app stores and apps. Please watch the videos on how to install the store below.

Please note, some Samsung phones come with the ability to download apps from the web turned off by default. You may need to head to the settings for your device to allow you to download Epic Games Store directly from us.
