No-code and low-code digital transformation platform VANTIQ Modelo has announced their 3.0 version for general availability.
VANTIQ announced new capabilities in its VANTIQ Modelo application development platform that help companies gain maximum value from their event-driven, real-time business application initiatives that span from cloud to edge. VANTIQ Modelo 3.0 users can quickly build and deploy cloud-to-edge business applications that deliver improved business agility.
"Digital transformation requires new sources of innovation and creativity as we are at a technological inflection point where business outcomes are being realized first through a set of technology capabilities and, for the first time, are outpacing traditional change management systems. The light-code/no-code approach to digital process-enablement is crucial for creating the “competitive stamina” that is sustainable by enterprises and employees.” According to IDC’s Shawn Fitzgerald, global director, Worldwide Digital Transformation Strategies.
“Approaches to realizing this, including VANTIQ's Modelo offering, are the type of step-change thinking and investments that digitally-determined organizations ought to evaluate as they look to thrive and succeed in the digital economy.”
Major new functionality within VANTIQ Modelo 3.0 is provided by the new App Modeler, which transforms the unfamiliar process of building event-driven applications into an approachable no-code collaborative activity. Using App Modeler, IT and business can collaborate from any location, gather business requirements, and define and document business events within VANTIQ Modelo, which then automatically generates real-time business applications based on the collective input of the team. Additional low-code development within VANTIQ Modelo is then used to further refine the applications as needed.
Broader Reach and Easier Integration
Previously available with Cloud Edition and Server Edition, VANTIQ Modelo 3.0 now includes two new editions for greater agility at the edge: Edge Edition enables local/edge processing for edge analytics and seamless communication with Modelo. Micro Edition, optimized for low-bandwidth, low-power devices, enables ‘last mile’ or ‘edge of edge’ micro devices to aggregate and communicate data back to Modelo.
Also new with VANTIQ Modelo 3.0 is the VANTIQ Enterprise Connector Software Developer Kit (SDK), which allows customers and partners to build integrations between VANTIQ and any external system - from databases, applications, and middleware to new and special-purpose devices. Additionally, you can use the pre-built connectors from VANTIQ such as the OPC UA Connector for an industrial internet-of-things (IIOT) application where machines are connected for real-time data processing and monitoring. Another VANTIQ connector integrates artificial intelligence (AI) and image recognition for an intelligent image extraction use case.
“VANTIQ’s release of Modelo 3.0, the new App Modeler for modeling business events and the Edge editions accelerate our ability to innovate and rapidly deliver modern, real-time business applications that deliver fast and significant value for our customers,” said Stéphane Marcon, CTO at InfoSquare. “With Enterprise Connector SDK, we can leverage community-driven agile development and more easily extend that value by integrating data management systems, front and back-office applications and help our customers achieve their digital transformation.”
