Sencha Makes Several Announcements at SenchaCon

At July’s SenchaCon 2013 several new initiatives were announced in the keynote address. Included was the introduction of the new Sencha Space and a preview of Sencha Architect 3.0

Targeting enterprise development and BYOD initiatives, Sencha Space is a secure and managed environment for HTML5 business applications that runs on any mobile device. With Sencha Space, developers can build business apps with access to a set of device-level APIs, and securely deploy and manage them, without having to taking ownership of personal devices. Sencha Space is now in developer preview, with clients available for iOS, Android and Blackberry.
A preview of Sencha Architect 3 was offered focusing on three of the major features (Project Templates, User Extension Import and Theming) that will be coming in that future release. Other updates and partnerships were also announced.
