Bango has extended its carrier billing routes for app store partners in several additional markets providing added reach for the Bango Payment Platform to service mobile app monetization needs of the growing global app store economy.
The Bango Platform enables one-click mobile payment, acting as a single point of integration for app stores and mobile network operators, providing the ability to deploy carrier billing on a large scale. Bango enables app publishers to increase their sales by making payment easier, faster and universally available through a single platform technology.
In May Bango offered new launches in Latin America and now its carrier billing platform is available for the following regions:
- Samsung GALAXYTM Apps that subscribe to O2 in Germany and Movistar (Telefónica) in Spain
- Google PlayTM that subscribe to Taiwan Star and XL in Indonesia
- Windows Phone Store that subscribe to Umniah in Jordan, Movistar in Mexico and in the UK
With these new territories, Bango now offers carrier billing in more than 140 markets globally.
Through the its Platform Operations Center (POC) Bango operates a cloud based service with uptime levels that go beyond Carrier Grade offering 24/7 staffing and providing the facilities for its team to pro-actively manage all billing integrations and content partnerships.
Mobile operator and app store integrations are managed across multiple Internet feeds for maximum resilience. Bango checks in real-time for a fast and reliable direct route to connect mobile payments traffic globally. The POC monitors the individual payment transactions, the on-going conversion rates, and validates that all connections are operating correctly. Engineers are on hand to help customers when problems arise.
The network is protected by multiple layers of security, with next generation redundant firewalls, application firewalls and an intrusion detection/prevention system. Specialist third party vulnerability and security specialists are used to complete regular network and application layer scanning, in accordance with PCI and DSS security standards. An application and infrastructure audit log is maintained, this includes system configuration and access.
Bango servers are hosted at Tier 3 and Tier 4 facilities that are accredited to ISO 27001 and are home to many of the world’s financial institutions and Internet exchanges. The facilities feature 24-hour manned security, biometric access and video surveillance. Bango’s colocation facilities are powered by 100% renewable power, each with UPS and backup generators. All systems services and circuits are monitored by Bango engineers and the co-location providers.
Mobile operators and digital merchants receive a comprehensive SLA service, covering service availability, uptime, payment transaction latency, and incident service levels. Bango follow the industry-leading ITIL framework to manage our infrastructure and provide customers with tools to proactively track incidents should they occur.
