Google to pay Apple 1 billion to be the default search engine for iOS

How much does it cost when you want all iOS users to use your search engine by default? 1 billion dollars says Google, the search engine giant who is set to pay Apple for the exclusive rights in 2014. To put that into perspective they paid only $82 million in 2009. Some analyst say the number will continue to grow as the device base grows too.
