Good Technology Equips Developers to Provide More Seamless Business User Experience

Good Technology™ has introduced new capabilities in the Good Dynamics® Secure Mobility Platform, enabling developers to more easily mobilize legacy app functions and simplify provisioning of multiple Good-secured apps. These patent-pending features, server-based services and easy activation from the Good Dynamics Platform, help developers deliver apps with a great user experience, driving enterprise app adoption and increasing ROI without requiring businesses to compromise on compliance or security.

The Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform provides the highest levels of security through a unique activation code for each Good-secured app activated on a device. With this release, new easy activation capability streamlines provisioning of apps for both users and IT. Now, as new Good-secured apps are provisioned, they are validated against a previously-activated authentication delegate app eliminating the need for a user to enter an activation code.

Today, with authentication delegation and support for Kerberos Constrained Delegation (KCD) in the Good Dynamics Platform, users have single sign-on access to all Good-secured apps on the device and behind-the-firewall resources without having to enter network credentials on the device. Combined with easy activation, Good makes the process for app activation and authentication, both at the app level and at the enterprise level, incredibly simple without compromising on enterprise security needs.

In addition to easy activation, the Good Dynamics Shared Services Framework now supports server-based services. Businesses can now publish common enterprise capabilities – such as business intelligence, expense handling, inventory management, payment processing, etc. - as server-based services, which developers can use to build mobile apps that give users the capabilities they need.

Good Dynamics server-based services make it much simpler to "mobilize" legacy enterprise applications. Capabilities in these applications can now be more easily and securely exposed as extensible server-based services, which can then be reused to enhance other mobile apps and workflows. In addition, these services can be securely extended not just to employees, but also to business partners, and even end customers without having to "open up" corporate network and systems to broad external access. Access to services and data through Good's Shared Services Framework can be finely controlled and easily enabled or disabled without the cost or complexity of VPN, virtualization, and other traditional remote access technologies.

App developers can now further enhance the user experience by creating apps that allow users to complete entire workflows from within a single app, eliminating the need to switch between apps to complete the desired set of tasks.
