Dell Services Now Support Pivotal Cloud Foundry

The Dell Digital Business Services portfolio will now include cloud-application services that leverage Pivotal Cloud Foundry, a centrally-managed Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for public and private cloud. Dell’s professional services portfolio includes cloud migration, application development, integration and managed services.

The new Dell option provides a single point of contact for migrating, developing and integrating applications on Pivotal Cloud Foundry that can be deployed over multiple cloud infrastructures helping organizations increase speed-to-market and business agility, collaborate effectively across the organization, create a modernized application portfolio, and enhance ability to manage variable demand capacity needs.

Pivotal Cloud Foundry provides a fully supported, next-generation, open-source platform offering, that is deployable across several Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platforms and integrates existing IT infrastructure with the latest cloud technology. 

The platform provides an elastic cloud platform with built-in health monitoring and support for multiple programming languages and frameworks to enable enterprises to rapidly deploy and scale applications on private and hybrid clouds. It also provides key application services for developers and management tools for IT operations to further enhance enterprise agility and productivity.
