JeffBet reports a 435% spike in U.S. Google searches for "How to Change My Vote" on November 4, 2024, just before the election between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. This increase highlights voter uncertainty amid intense polarization. Once ballots are processed, changes are not possible.
New Google data conducted by JeffBet reveals a 435% increase in U.S. searches for 'How to Change My Vote' on Monday, November 4th, 2024, just ahead of today's election between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

JeffBet states that once your ballot has been scanned or opened, it is impossible to change your vote. At this stage, the ballot is anonymized, making it untraceable to any specific voter and therefore impossible to remove. This process ensures that no one has more than one vote. Some states do have procedures for replacing mail-in ballots in certain situations, but only if the ballot hasn’t been processed and the request is made before a specified deadline.
In the study, JeffBet also found that across the past thirty days, U.S. searches surged by 293% for “Who is running for president?” and by 214% for “rigged election” just yesterday.
A spokesperson for JeffBet commented on the findings, "The Harris-Trump election has shaped up to be an incredibly fierce race, with voters facing a stark choice between two distinctly different visions for America’s future. The mounting pressure on the public is evident, with many signaling last-minute doubts or wavering loyalties among voters.
“This moment underscores not only the high stakes of this election but also the profound polarization gripping the nation, potentially shifting the balance in key battleground states and setting the stage for a truly unpredictable outcome."
