Vungle announces Dynamic Templates

Video ads are an effective way to drive revenue for a mobile app. But, keeping users happy is equally as important, as the number of active users an app has is directly tied to a developer’s ability to monetize. Low quality, poorly designed video ads that don’t perform have no place in an app but, unfortunately, they are all too common. eCPM suffers if video ads consistently perform poorly, which means that developers will have to show more videos - and potentially interrupt users more—to make the same amount of revenue.

Enter the Vungle’s new Dynamic Templates. The idea for Dynamic Templates was hatched in Vungle Creative Labs (VCL), Vungle's in-house professional services group comprised of artists, motion graphics experts, designers and interactive specialists who use Vungle's proprietary Creative Optimization framework to maximize the success of video ads without compromising the user experience.

VCL uses data science to optimize ads for quality and performance, which leads to more installs, better engagement rates and higher eCPMs. That means app developers using the Vungle platform to monetize can rest assured that they’ll be able to deliver optimized ads that enhance the user experience while delivering maximum revenue for their app. Moreover, developers will be able to gain access to these new creatives in real time as they are dreamed up by the innovation team within VCL.

Once a publisher enables Dynamic Templates, they can serve any new template Vungle releases in their app without updating their Vungle SDK. This allows the app developers - who are often working on smaller budgets - to spend less engineering resources on SDK implementation and app store submissions, and more time dedicated toward delivering innovative in-app experiences that deliver ROI. They can integrate solely Vungle and still be sure that users will get a variety of unique ad experiences.
