Native Software Development Kit for mobile audience engagement has been announced by Spot.IM.

Spot.IM, a technology startup that builds global communities around the web, has announced the launch of its native Software Development Kit (SDK), enabling publishers of all sizes to significantly boost audience engagement, drive traffic, and earn meaningful revenue across mobile apps. By making Spot.IM's community solutions available to the public in a native SDK, iOS and Android mobile app developers will now have the ability to monetize user-generated content (UGC) via revshare.

"Audiences today only visit publisher sites for a few seconds before escaping to Facebook to discuss the content, and this is a huge challenge for publishers," said Nadav Shoval, co-founder and CEO at Spot.IM. "We're committed to solving this problem by building communities to keep users engaged on publisher sites. Our native SDK now extends the community functionality to mobile apps and we're thrilled to release it for all publishers to enjoy and users to experience."

Spot.IM offers publishers a variety of community engagement solutions including Real-Time Conversation which powers communication with automatic moderation and Community Recirculation, a website module that promotes popular content from the publisher's site along with its associated user-generated content and a monetization component that triggers display and video ads after users engage.
