Mobiforms Announces Support of HTML5 Offline Apps

The latest version of the MobiForms 7.0 now allows developers to create HTML5 offline apps for any mobile device with a web browser capable of supporting Web SQL and Javascript including Windows Tablet, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Google Android, and Apple iPhone, iPod and iPod.

Advantages of the platform upgrade utilizes the SQLite database engine embedded as Web SQL in most modern mobile web browsers. The default look and feel can be changed by simply configuring the custom style sheet (CSS) properties. The platform exists outside of the typical mobile OS architecture, so it avoids the app approval process can sometimes take weeks.
