Learn HTML5 from Google via Udacity

A new online course about learning to code in HTML5 using javascript is being offered by Google through the education portal Udacity.

It focuses on building a game in JavaScript, and is taught by Google Chrome developer relations duo Colt McAnlis and Peter Lubbers as well as Udacity architect Sean Bennett.
The course is designed to walk developers through the major components of building a game using HTML5, and GRITS as an example. In addition the course will talk through standard development techniques to help create “high performance” applications.
The syllabus also coveres Canvas rendering, basic input, handling events, entity hierarchy, Box2D, adding sound and asynchronous loading.
