Passbook was a new feature released in iOS 6 that allowed users to keep important items such tickets, boarding passes, coupons and so forth in a digital type wallet. Developers were a bit confused at first as to how to implement the Passbook system into their apps, but it's starting to sink in that the solution could be the next big thing in retail app development.
