Google Maps downloaded over 10 million times on iOS

Just a few short days ago Google released it's geo map update into the iOS App Store and it's now been downloaded over 10 million times! News which I'm sure Apple is taking pretty hard since it tried to provide iOS users with the best map experience possible but was plagued with problems from day one.

The Google maps app demonstrates cutting edge geo features missing from Apple's core location app, but now that Apple has started down the road of a federated location app, the next release better knock our socks off or Google will remain the #1 choice for users.
