Get a Square Card Reader For Mobile And Help Fight Aids

Richard Harris Richard Harris in Mobile Tech Wednesday, February 19, 2014

Mobile payments company Square has partnered with AIDS charity Product (RED) to introduce a new special edition "SQUA(RED)" card reader. The reader, which is bright red, is available for a $10 donation with 97.25 percent of that cost going directly to the Global Fund to fight AIDS.

For every (PRODUCT)RED™ SQUA(RED) Reader ordered, 97.25% of the $10 donation amount will go to the Global Fund to fight AIDS—which could provide more than 24 days of life-saving medicine for someone living with HIV.

The impact doesn't end there. When you swipe (RED), your customers can donate right from their emailed receipts to help deliver an AIDS FREE GENERATION. Every swipe can make a difference.

1) Order your SQUA(RED) Reader.
2) Download the free Square Register app.
3) Plug in SQUA(RED) Reader and start taking payments.

All (RED) monies go directly to the Global Fund to fund AIDS programs in Africa.

"Square already helps millions of local sellers run and grow their business, and now with SQUA(RED) Reader, we're empowering them to raise awareness for an important cause and help save lives in the process," said Jack Dorsey, CEO of Square.
