Former Cisco GM joins Voxbone CaaS

Voxbone's mission has been bolstered by the addition of a new board member, Dr. Jens Meggers. Voxbone powers many enterprise cloud communications platforms with on-demand voice and messaging services via API. Meggers’ experience will be indispensable as Voxbone pushes further into the complex realm of enterprise infrastructures.
 
As former senior vice president and general manager for the Cloud Collaboration Technology Group at Cisco, Meggers brings deep enterprise software and services expertise to the Voxbone board. An expert in creating robust, scalable infrastructures, he was responsible for managing Cisco’s cloud-focused portfolio of voice, video and web conferencing services. Meggers previously held leadership positions at Symantec and currently serves as COO of exciting AI cloud collaboration play, Huddl.ai.

With a Masters and Ph.D. in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen, Germany, where he conducted research in 3G/4G mobile internet applications and video and audio transmission over networks with variable service capabilities, Meggers also has several patents in data communications and security.
