Moonbeam has just posted an update to it's GPS tracking app "Chirp" with lots of new tracking features, a brand new interface, pin dropping, location sharing, and even a new speedometer function.

Now on version 1.4, Chirp has quickly rose to be a top social navigation app in the iOS app store by letting friends follow each other and track each other's whereabouts anytime they are online (think Skype). The new interface lets you quickly access all of the areas of the app from one screen, and it's now easier than ever to find out where someone in your "nest" is at. Here is a complete list of what's new:

 - Totally new interface with an awesome user experience
 - Drop Pins and save any location on map (with directions)
 - Share location with anyone over social media
 - Includes updated speedometer
 - Misc bug fixes and enhancements

Chirp is definitely one of those must have apps for families and friends who need to keep tabs on each other and this update raises the bar for all other GPS tracking apps in the market.

You can download Chirp here, or click the link below.
