Unlocked iphone 5's for sale in the US Apple store

For those of you that hate mobile network contracts that lock you into your their network for a couple of years (AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, etc), you can now buy the iPhone 5 without being tied down to a network, period.

If you want one you'll have to pony up almost twice the cost of the network locked version. The unlocked iPhone 5’s price ranges from $649 for 16 GB of storage to $849 for 64GB. That's Quite a bit more than the device’s subsidized pricing which starts at $199 for an entry-level model, and tops out at $399.
But if you just can't stand the thought of buying an iPhone with a contract then here ya go!
