Matias has 10+ years of experience shipping products, including AAA Video Games and different solutions like DRM systems, cellphone VoIP/PTT solutions and real-time communication systems based on Social Networks. He has been involved in several game, console, animated movies and rendering related projects. Nowadays he is serving as VP of Technology at Globant, in charge of developing a long term strategy for the Gaming Division, working closely with teams to close any gap on technology as well as strong focus on R&D. He is in charge of developing a long term strategy for Gaming, working closely with a team of Producers, 2D&3D Artists and Engineers working for top AAA Studios and Publishers on PC/Console Titles, Companion Experiences and Gaming Back End Platforms. Matias has a strong focus on creative art practices and R&D around Cloud Technologies, eSports, VR and AR to leverage the trending technologies to create experiences on the M&E space.
