AppNeta Announces Support for Node.js Web App Developers

Tuesday, October 28, 2014

Stuart Parkerson Stuart Parkerson

AppNeta is now providing support for Node.js developers via TraceView, one of the products in the AppNeta full stack application performance management (APM) solution suite. TraceView combines full-stack application tracing and data visualization for building fast and reliable web applications.

TraceView for Node.js provides developers with insight into the performance and scalability of all Node.js applications. Node.js support does not require any code modification as it automatically inserts hooks for key modules. TraceView gathers detailed performance data on data queries such as MongoDB and Redis as well as outgoing HTTP requests. This data helps Node.js developers identify issues such as slow queries, service dependencies and poorly performing JS code paths.

TraceView can be installed through AppNeta’s node package manager, the Node.js default package manager and within minutes, a developer can begin tracing their Node.js applications.

AppNeta Node.js support continues its growth as an APM platform, providing integrated performance visibility that spans the application code, through the network, to the end user. AppNeta's SaaS solutions give detailed performance data to see across their web, mobile and cloud-delivered application environments and pinpoint tough performance bottlenecks.

More information is available on the AppNeta website.
