Posted on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 by RICHARD HARRIS, Executive Editor

Silvaco, Inc. has announced collaboration with players in the semiconductor intellectual property (IP) ecosystem to host the annual Stars of IP party at Speakeasy in Austin, Texas, on the evening of Tuesday, June 20, 2017. The event coincides with the 54th Design Automation Conference (DAC), which takes place June 18 - 21 at the Austin Convention Center.

Stars of IP seeks to strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem by fostering networking and forging closer ties among IP provider companies, partners, and users. The success of the inaugural event at DAC 2013 in Austin and the growth of the party with each subsequent year have established Stars of IP as a fixture at DAC and one of the most sought-after tickets at each year’s conference.

“Over the years, Stars of IP has become an event that our customers look forward to,” said Warren Savage, General Manager of the IP Division at Silvaco. “We pride ourselves on keeping this party fun and fresh each year. I look forward to a fun evening where we can kick back and relax as we come together to celebrate IP.”

This year’s Stars of IP party co-hosts represent all corners of the IP ecosystem, from providers to industry partners and organizations: Andes Tech, ARM, Avery Design , CAST, Certus Semiconductor, DAC, Electronic System Design (ESD) Alliance, Menta, Omni Design Tech, Silicon Creations, Silvaco, SoC Solutions, Sonics,  Synopsys, True Circuits, TSMC, and Uniquify.

Together, the co-hosts will invite over 300 of their best customers and partners to enjoy the party.
