Foresight Secures $25M to Bridge Infrastructure Execution Gap

Posted on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 by RICHARD HARRIS, Executive Editor

Foresight, the AI powered project delivery platform for large scale infrastructure, announced a Series A financing of 25 million United States dollars led by Macquarie Capital Venture Capital, with participation from seed investor Creandum, ISAI Build from the Bouygues group managed by ISAI, i2bf Global Ventures, and Somersault Ventures. The company will use the capital to accelerate product development, expand its team, and scale internationally across data center, power, defense, advanced manufacturing, energy, and mobility markets. Series A led by Macquarie Capital Venture Capital will fund product expansion and global scale as delivery risk becomes the defining constraint on AI infrastructure, energy and industrial investment.

The investment arrives as record levels of capital move into complex infrastructure programs. Hyperscale data centers, new power generation, advanced manufacturing sites, and critical defense assets are growing larger, more power dense, and more interdependent. These programs span multiple owners, contractors, and suppliers across global supply chains. In that environment, even small execution failures can cascade into schedule slippage, rising costs, and delayed revenue activation.

Independent studies show that nearly ninety percent of large scale infrastructure projects finish late or over budget. In AI infrastructure, missed milestones directly affect capacity activation, financing costs, customer commitments, and competitive positioning. The need has shifted from tracking what happened to knowing what will happen in time to act. Foresight was created to close that execution gap.

Platform and traction

Foresights Predictive Project Delivery platform operates as a unified AI control system built for multi billion dollar, multi stakeholder programs. It establishes a reliable baseline schedule in days rather than months, continuously validates real world progress against plan, integrates execution signals from owners, contractors, and suppliers, and forecasts risk early enough for decisive intervention. The platform is designed to become the single source of truth for complex delivery, replacing static schedules and backward looking reporting with continuously updated intelligence.

Customers using Foresight report two times more accurate completion forecasts compared to traditional bottom up schedules. They see around thirty percent reduction in overruns through earlier identification of delay drivers and the ability to act before escalation. Owners also gain portfolio level visibility across concurrent builds, allowing them to manage systemic risk across programs rather than one project at a time. This combination of earlier insight and coordinated response enables owners and operators to protect capital, accelerate time to revenue, and strengthen delivery assurance.

Why this funding matters

Delivery risk is fast becoming the central constraint on where and how infrastructure capital can be deployed. In AI infrastructure, compute demand outpaces supply, but power, land, equipment, and delivery capacity are the true bottlenecks. In the energy transition, grid expansions, generation, and storage carry long lead items, regulatory complexity, and interdependent schedules. In advanced manufacturing and defense, global supply chains and precision installation requirements make early detection of slippage essential.

As capital intensifies, oversight that relies on fragmented tools, siloed data, and backward looking status reports is not sufficient. Owners need predictive control that surfaces risk while there is still time to make a difference. Foresight is focused on this shift, giving owners and delivery partners a shared operational picture, scenario planning tools, and the ability to intervene with confidence.

Use of funds

Foresight will use the Series A to deepen core scheduling, forecasting, and execution intelligence, including advances in generative and causal models that translate field signals into accurate, explainable risk predictions. The company will expand integrations with major planning, procurement, construction, and asset management systems so that owners can unify data without disrupting existing workflows. Investment will also support growth of engineering, customer success, and go to market teams across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and other priority regions.

Beyond hyperscale data centers, Foresight plans to extend its platform into adjacent sectors where the execution challenge is similar but the stakes are even greater. Power generation, transmission and distribution, defense programs, and advanced manufacturing will be key focus areas. The company will continue to build capabilities that help owners manage at both project and portfolio levels, linking delivery outcomes with financing, revenue activation, and commercial commitments.

Executive perspectives

Igor Shifrin, Co Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Foresight, said, The scale of capital now committed to infrastructure is historic, but capital alone does not build anything on time. Foresight replaces fragmented oversight with predictive control, giving owners forward looking visibility into risk and the ability to intervene before delays materialize. This funding allows us to scale globally and support the next generation of infrastructure delivery.

Gary Munitz, Global Co Head of Macquarie Capital Venture Capital, said, Macquarie Capital Venture Capital partners with high growth, early stage software companies that are reshaping how industries operate. We invested in Foresight because it can improve the operating model for complex project delivery at a moment when timing drives returns. With Foresight, project owners gain the clarity and control needed to maintain a competitive edge.

Dr. Atif Ansar, Co Founder and Executive Chairman of Foresight, said, Delays in major projects are not rare events caused by black swans. They are systemic. Small, compounding execution failures and predictable human biases in planning drive outcomes. My research at Oxford quantified this problem over many years. Foresight is the first platform that operationalizes these insights so that every level of the organization, from the C suite to the field, can see risk early and act on it.
