QualiTest Group announced that it has signed a definitive agreement with Orasi Software, Inc., an Atlanta-based software reseller and professional services company, to acquire its Testing Services Division (TSD). At closing, which is subject to customary conditions, QualiTest and Orasi will also enter into a strategic partnership that will allow for more comprehensive offerings for their respective customers.

The addition of Orasi TSD will significantly expand QualiTest’s presence in the U.S., particularly in the Southeast and Midwest, and bring a strong customer portfolio including major Tier 1 multinational corporations. Testing services customers of the two firms will now have access to more than 3,000 testers across a geographic footprint that spans the globe. Orasi’s existing customers will be able to leverage an enhanced suite of testing services, while QualiTest customers will enjoy the benefits of testing experts and domain experience in areas such as media, retail, finance and utilities.

“We are delighted to strengthen our offering and expand our reach with the addition of Orasi’s testing services business. Their reputation for excellence, particularly in automated testing, and the company’s strong presence in the U.S. will help grow our customer base and provide enhanced services for our existing customers,” said Ayal Zylberman, Chief Executive Officer of QualiTest. “Orasi’s expertise and team, combined with QualiTest’s tailored and innovative testing solutions, represent a win for QualiTest and Orasi customers alike.”

“Based on QualiTest’s 20-year history of helping assure the highest possible software quality and minimizing risk, we are confident that QualiTest will only enhance and build upon the excellence our clients have come to appreciate from Orasi,” said Nick Kavadellas, President and CEO of Orasi. “The expert testing team, assets and capabilities we’ve developed within Orasi will continue to thrive as part of the world’s largest pure play software testing company. This strategic combination benefits Orasi, QualiTest, our employees, clients and partners around the globe.”
