Microsoft Windows Phone Wants YOU

Posted on Friday, December 21, 2012 by RICHARD HARRIS, Executive Editor

Microsoft knows that to succeed in the mobile world it needs a good following of mobile developers to make great apps. That is why recently they hosted an event that invited iOS developers who exclusively develop for iOS, to try and win their loyalty onto the Windows 8 platform.

This seems remnant of the early days with Google to me, when they  sent out free Nexus One devices and Droid devices to Android developers.

I think 2013 is going to be a 'Battle for Middle Earth' as Microsoft, Apple, and Google try to get as many developers as they can on their platforms.
