Microsoft and Apple arguing over fees

The future of the SkyDrive app by Microsoft might be in jeopardy for iOS users because Microsoft and Apple have locked horns over Apple wanting 30% of Microsoft's take when people purchase additional space inside the app while using an iOS device.

This goes back to the early argument developers had over the seemingly generous slice of a developers revenue being taken by Apple. I understand both perspectives here but an argument could be made that if it weren't for the Apple app store,  iOS users wouldn't be using Skydrive to begin with.

It's a hard nut to swallow sometimes as a Apple developer- 30%, but when you think about the deployment of your app instantly to millions and millions of users,  30% doesn't sound that bad anymore.
