In App Billing version 3.0 is here for Android devs

While iOS freemium apps continue to show-off their revenue numbers, Google has just released it's latest iteration of in-app billing (the equivalent to in-app purchases for iOS) to help Android developers earn more revenue.

Google says it's more developer friendly with easier to write code, more robust with fewer lost transactions, faster API calls, and some other much sought after functions.

My bet is this is going to really propel Android apps closer to iOS revenue streams in the future - we'll check back on this developing story in early 2013 no doubt.
