Build Apps That Can Take Signatures Using DocuSign's New SDK

At WWDC this week, DocuSign, Inc. (DocuSign®) announced the availability of the industry’s first Mobile SDK for iOS that enables mobile developers to build Digital Transaction Management (DTM) and electronic signing capabilities natively into mobile apps. Built on DocuSign’s industry leading DTM platform, the DocuSign Mobile SDK is optimized for rapid development so developers can build transaction and electronic signature functionality into apps in as little as an hour, with extensive options to customize the appearance and style of the user experience.

'TouchBase's customers will love the ability to manage digital transactions and get documents electronically signed with our mobile app built using the DocuSign Mobile SDK,' said Santosh Khare, CEO of TouchBase Inc. 'DocuSign's trusted Digital Transaction Management platform and worldwide user base ensures TouchBase’s apps are trusted and secure. Integrating TouchBase and DocuSign enables mobile workforces to send, receive and manage signed NDAs, contracts and order forms on-the-go – rich functionality that our customers are already committing to purchase.'

Select participants in DocuSign’s Mobile SDK Beta Program are eligible for the company’s ‘Beta Heroes’ Program, which extends developer support from DocuSign and offers future opportunities for global co-promotion.

“Point.io is all about API’s. The quality of the tools and the developer support for the Mobile SDK from DocuSign blew us away,” says Tim Panagos, CTO of Point.io, an API-as-a-Service provider. “We had robust eSignature integrated into our iOS app in a matter of days. Now our users can grab documents from twenty-two file sources in the cloud and behind the firewall with our API to conduct in-person signing through the DocuSign Mobile SDK. Killer combo.”

With an API cited by ProgrammableWeb as “the strongest of all the providers”, DocuSign is further simplifying the process of building secure, authenticated DTM capabilities into native mobile apps.
