Apple Vision Pro now available in other parts of the world

The Apple Vision Pro is now available in Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world. Additionally, AI is being integrated into the Apple Vision Pro, featuring notification prioritization, new writing tools, an OpenAI chatbot, and Siri.

So what does this mean? Will Apple achieve success with the Vision Pro after an uncertain consumer start, even though the initial launch was never intended to target the broader consumer market in the first place? Rolf Illenberger, CEO of VRdirect, a no-code VR software provider with clients that include Nestle, Porsche, Siemens, and Lufthansa, shares his insights on the European market.

"You’ll start to see sales momentum around the Vision Pro from a consumer standpoint pick up in Q3 and Q4, especially around the holiday buying period. From an enterprise point of view, big businesses are all-in on Virtual Reality and will continue to build strategies around devices like the Vision Pro and Quest 3, if they haven’t already," said Rolf Illenberger.

"This first-generation of the Apple Vision Pro wasn’t, nor ever will be designed for commercial success. It’s largely a beta product aimed at developers that will benefit from several major tech hubs in Asia and Europe that can create apps, games, and programs for the device - just as you’ve seen in the US over the last several months," reiterated Illenberger.

"From pharma clients to corporate HR departments, to F1 teams, research hospitals and high-end retail, the Vision Pro (and Quest 3) will find its biggest successes outside of the consumer sector for the time being. With that in mind, new AI improvements will only improve the user experience for consumers," said Illenberger.
