Apple has added to the iAd platform functionality with new pre-roll video and full-screen interstitial banner ads with units optimized for in-app viewing. The platform now offers standard banners MREC banners; full-screen interstitial banners; and pre-roll video ads.
Also, Apple has expanded to 16 the number of countries the iAd network serves by adding Russia and Switzerland. Other countries served include Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
