Trends In BYOD Allow PanTerra Networks To Take Cross Platform Reality To The Next Level

PanTerra Networks is pushing cross-platform reality forward through its SmartBox communications-enabled content management and file-sharing platform. The platform enables  collaboration and call center services, audio and video calls and IM/SMS. The company is working to provide such workers and managers more flexibility allowing them to remain connected anytime. Users can also collaborate and share with clients at any location through any device.

SmartBox is a cloud-file sharing service which is an application for a unified offering that is more reliable and lower cost for ownership. Customers can benefit from SmartBox's enhanced security features. These features include in-transit/at-rest encryption, remote blocking and built-in multi-factor authentication (MFA). The application is available for both Android and Apple operating systems.

According to a recent Forrester report, workers on average travel with at least three devices at all times to ensure connectivity and access to data. BYOD on such devices can also be accessed through many different platforms such as Android, iOS, Mac and Windows.  Unified Communications (UC) solutions and technologies such as  WebRTC can provide better functionalities and cross-platform interoperability which then enable workers to access data and communication through their devices. This will further be able to support today’s growing workforce.

IoT is a key growth enabler for the future. Wireless connectivity and the ability to offer ubiquitous access of the Internet through any location is an important change within the communications and information in the technology world. These technologies of the future and the relation to IoT spending is driven by the worlds largest organizations. Investment for IoT are expected to be at $8.9 trillion in 2020.
