Tapjoy has announced a partnership with Atari, one of the world's most recognized publishers and producers of interactive entertainment, to make Tapjoy one of the first providers of rewarded advertisements in Atari’s mobile games. Players of Atari’s RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch can now earn free in-app coins by watching videos and engaging with other types of ads from Tapjoy’s advertising partners. Their ads will be available in Atari’s Goon Squad and Lunar Battle games shortly.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch is the latest installment of the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise. Now available in full 3D for the first time, the app enables players to design, customize and share their greatest park creations with friends from around the world. RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch has garnered over seven million downloads and one hundred twenty five million sessions globally since it first launched in February of this year.

“Our goal is to give our players the best gaming experience possible,” said Tony Chien, Senior Director of Marketing at Atari. “Tapjoy makes it easy for our players to earn in-game coins for free simply by watching videos from brands they love. We chose to make Tapjoy one of our first ad partners because they represent such a high number of premium brands and the quality of their ad products is second to none.”

“Atari is one of the most recognizable and beloved brands in all of gaming, and we are honored that the company chose us as one of their first ad partners for rewarded ads,” said Ben Chen, Tapjoy’s SVP & GM, Developer Relations. “Gamers love rewarded advertising because it lets them do more and engage deeper within their favorite mobile games without having to pay. Our mission is to leverage the power of rewarded ads so that publishers such as Atari can monetize their apps effectively while giving their users a first-rate gaming experience.”
