Sprylogics' New SDK Allows App Developers to Monetize Local Searches

Posted on Saturday, October 19, 2013 by STUART PARKERSON, Global Sales

A new SDK which enables 'swipe to share' actions to share actions and 'smart links' to automatically detected links based on the user's search intent, is available for iOS and Android devices.

The new offering is called Poynt-Enabled and has been released by the Canadian based firm Sprylogics. The product allows developers to generate a new revenue stream and is offered as a revenue share with the company.

Poynt-Enabled can integrate within an SMS or proprietary messaging stream, and supports any client application (SMS, RCS, OTT, Vertical App), and multi-protocol options (Gtalk, Facebook Messenger, own protocol).

A variety of sources of international and multi-language content is available across the many commonly used searched subjects including video, restaurants, movies, coupons, events, businesses, people, and weather. It allows users to discover, view, discuss, share and even add content to their calendar without leaving the messaging or mobile app.
