App Samurai Inc announced it is launching a global Resilience Grant, supporting mobile app publishers that, in turn, support the mental, physical and emotional wellbeing of consumers throughout the on-going coronavirus pandemic.

The Resilience Grant will award up to $10,000 per start-up in advertising spend to help support their user acquisition campaigns during this time of uncertainty. Each start-up will also receive support from dedicated specialists within the App Samurai team, to ensure the chosen app publishers can maximise the success of their campaigns and therefore help the largest audience possible.

Announcing the launch of the programme, Emre Fadillioglu, CEO and Co-Founder, App Samurai Inc said “Whilst governments around the world introduce unprecedented fiscal measures to support businesses and individuals during this incredibly challenging time, start-ups and the entrepreneurs who launch them continue to struggle. They are the lifeblood of the mobile app ecosystem so we wanted to do what we could to support this community and in turn the users they help.”

Seyhmus Ölker, Co-Founder and COO, “With lockdowns happening throughout the world, never has the mobile app ecosystem played a more pivotal role in ensuring we all stay safe and stay connected. Equally, for app publishers to survive and to thrive, they need to reach new users through advertising and acquisition strategies. We hope these grants will help these businesses weather the current economic uncertainty and come out the other side stronger than ever.”

Eligible app publishers will be able to apply for the grants via the App Samurai website from 8th May to 10th July, with successful applicants confirmed on 27th July 2020. Apps will be chosen by a Selection Committee made up of members of both the App Samurai leadership and independent experts from the marketing and advertising industry. Applicable apps must be able to demonstrate the support they provide to the mental, physical or emotional wellbeing of the communities they serve.
