The Multimedia Development Corporation of Malaysia (MDeC) will be bringing the Malaysian game development industry to GDC this year. The attending companies will include ACE EdVenture Studio, Forest Interactive, Inspidea, Lemonsky, Mediasoft Entertainment, Motiofixo Visuals, Streamframe, Streamline, Terato Tech and WIGU.
This is the first year the Malaysian gaming industry will be represented as a group at GDC. Representatives include game development companies and third party tool providers. Games represented include Jump Smash 2015, which will introduce the newest version of the game that has already received over four million downloads in Asia and ChemCaper - Petticles in Peril, a first-of-its-kind educational role-playing game.
On the developer tools front, the first public demonstrations of Streamframe, a cloud-based production management game platform created for game designers, will be debuted.
