We’ve done a lot of reporting on the growth of the mobile development sector. We receive report after report on the hyper growth of the mobile industry.
And most recently
Localytics, a marketing and analytics platform for mobile and web apps, announced that Q2 2014 marked the 18th consecutive quarter of record-setting revenue for their company. In addition to tripling revenue from Q2 of 2013 (yes than means they tripled in growth in just one year), the company significantly grew its employee headcount in the first half of the year.
The growth in the industry is happening so fast that companies like Localytics are always ramping up to meet the demand. Despite adding a number of new people this year to reach a total of 120 employees, it still has 30 openings to bring in new people to handle the market escalation. That’s hyper growth.
