HP Releases New Data Security Options

Posted on Thursday, September 17, 2015 by STUART PARKERSON, Global Sales

HP has introduced several new enterprise data security options delivered through the data-centric security offerings of HP Atalla and HP Security Voltage. These new updates address PCI compliance, data de-identification and collaboration security.

HP Atalla now offers integration of Adallom with HP ArcSight through the Cloud Access Security protection platform. This integration allows organizations to secure data, gain intelligence into cloud application usage and detect suspicious activities. The platform will enable customer information to flow from Adallom, a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), to HP ArcSight’s leading Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform, with the advantage of viewing analytics from a single GUI.

HP SecureMail eDiscovery helps customers remove the complexity of data protection, retention and accessibility of securely archived data as it simplifies discovery requests by decrypting messages and attachments through an easy-to-use GUI interface.

The enhanced HP SecureData Payments 4.1 offers end-to-end protection of customer data and enables secure data capture at the point of payment or POS to processing hosts. HP SecureData Payments supports additional platforms and cryptographic capabilities, including support for the new x86-based HP Integrity NonStop X platform and longer cryptographic keys. This allows merchants to offer new services requiring sensitive data capture at customer interaction points, such as SSN data for instant credit checks, non-traditional payments, loyalty programs or regulated survey data such as ZIP or post codes.

HP Atalla IPC Express automates unstructured data classification and deterministic protection of email, MS-Office documents and PDF files. Atalla IPC Express shares the advanced technology of the HP Atalla IPC Enterprise version, while addressing the requirements of enterprises that need to streamline compliance processes and optimize existing DLP and email encryption gateway deployments.

Atalla IPC Express is a low-TCO and near-zero-configuration solution, which is especially beneficial to enterprises that do not have the support team in place to establish and manage detailed information-classification and protection policies.
