Posted on Monday, December 23, 2013 by RICHARD HARRIS, Executive Editor

Gizmox has announced the availability of Visual WebGui Version 7 which includes a new mobile feature set, an assessment tool for analyzing legacy desktop apps, and integration with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013. Visual WebGui allows Visual Studio developers to create HTML5 apps using only C# and visual designers, with no need to learn new programming languages.

Version 7 also introduces a new business server that delivers the scalability, performance, and security. Visual WebGui Version 7 adds new features including PhoneGap device integration, offline support for managing periodic disconnects, and the ability to quickly design for different mobile form factors with no coding.

Integration with Visual Studio 2013 lets developers take advantage of Visual WebGui immediately. Also available is an assessment tool that analyzes legacy client-server code (e.g. VB6) and provides benchmarks comparing the complexity of re-writing to reusing code by automating the move to C# and HTML5 with Gizmox Transposition.
