The big hits keep coming at Unity’s Unite Developer Vancouver, Canada with Facebook’s announcement of its new cross-platform SDK for Unity games.

Web, iOS, and Android gaming app developers can now use Facebook's social and identity features to enhance their gaming experience. The formidable partnership between the world’s largest gaming platform in terms of developers and the social network juggernaut is sure to make waves throughout the gaming/app industries.

The Facebook SDK lets app developers continue to write code in C# and add Facebooks social game experiences to their users. Facebook has built native Unity dialogs for inviting friends, requests, and sharing. The SDK lets users stay in full-screen mode while interacting with social features. Developers can download the SDK from Facebook’s developer site or from the Unity Asset Store.
