Continuous delivery will no longer be an acceptable excuse in 2021

2021 will see a shift from the speed of delivery of software and applications to prioritizing the quality of the digital experience. Continuous delivery will no longer be an acceptable excuse for low quality. The approach of just release it, and if there are problems, we'll fix it in the next release will be retired. In our digitally dependent world, users will no longer tolerate a sub-optimal experience, and this will continue to tip the balance towards quality rather than speed of delivery.

Testing will Finally Prioritize Security in the Development Lifecycle

With digital dominating our professional and personal lives, security will move into the spotlight rather than being an afterthought when it comes to software development. In 2021, testing will prioritize security at the start of the development lifecycle to ensure that there are no vulnerabilities in applications before release.
