Recognizing this reality, the people behind the popular Apps World Conference are leveraging their experience and contacts to create a new event, Enterprise Apps World, a new two day show dedicated solely to enterprise apps which will take place alongside fellow enterprise technology conference and exhibition Cloud World Forum next summer.
The new show, which will take place 17-18 June next year at London’s Olympia National, will deliver the latest thinking in the enterprise apps ecosystem.
The event will bring together CIOs and app developers to examine the rapidly evolving issues in enterprise app development and management as well as related trends such as BYOD and BYOA which are challenging how CIOs and businesses operate in today’s world.
The Enterprise Mobility conference will review both business strategic and practical app development considerations as it examines why and how enterprise can become more mobile and the significant role that apps and the cloud play in this transformation. While the enterprise application market is at an early stage, there is a clear understanding that mobile is critical for both employees and consumers.
The free-to-attend conference is focused upon the practical process of developing apps for the enterprise and how enterprises should go about developing apps and the opportunity that exists for developers within the enterprise app market.
Enterprise Apps World will also include a dedicated enterprise apps hackathon that will see developers and coders hacking for fun and prizes, fulfilling briefs set by sponsors keen to spot the hottest new talent at work in the industry.
Additionally, Enterprise Apps World will provide a platform for start-up enterprise app developers, giving them the chance to exhibit for free in a dedicated start-up area at the show.
