Appcelerator Enterprise Apps Now Supported by Mocana Security Platform

Mocana has announced that enterprise mobile apps developed using the Appcelerator Platform or the Appcelerator Titanium mobile development environment are now MAP-Ready and supported by the Mocana Atlas platform. Apps built using either the Appcelerator Platform or Titanium environment can now be secured by the latest version of Mocana’s Mobile App Protection (MAP) solution.

The Mocana MAP Developer Program provides free tools, technical support and co-marketing opportunities for enterprise and ISV developers building secure mobile apps. Through the MAP Developer portal, users get free access to the MAP Testing Workbench, an online self-certification service that allows apps to be “test-wrapped” with Mocana MAP security. After testing, users can take advantage of the MAP-Ready logo, which certifies that any applications they develop with Appcelerator can be secured with Mocana MAP, and tethered to enterprise systems via Mocana Atlas.

Mocana MAP has been tightly integrated into the Mocana Atlas extended enterprise engine, creating a complete end-to-end enterprise mobility platform that delivers a security solution IT organizations can deploy to realize the full potential of enterprise mobility.

Mocana MAP accelerates wide-scale deployment of enterprise mobile apps with app security automation that adds a security shield in seconds to third-party, hybrid and custom enterprise apps designed for B2E and B2B applications, regardless of device platform and without the need to write any code.

The Mocana Atlas extended enterprise engine is a purpose-built platform designed to simplify enterprise mobile app deployments. The Mocana Atlas appliance mitigates many of the security bottlenecks that typify large-scale rollouts, while reducing mobile total cost of ownership (TCO) for organizations. Mocana Atlas securely connects mobile apps to back-end systems with simplicity for IT and one-click access for end-users, across the entire extended enterprise.
