Since the launch of Ray-Ban Meta glasses, the product has garnered significant popularity, with demand initially outstripping supply. Millions of moments have been shared using the glasses, enhancing the everyday experiences of users worldwide.

AI enabled Ray-Ban Meta glasses receive new features and expanded partner integrations

  • New AI features are being added to Ray-Ban Meta glasses, enabling users to remember things like parking locations, translate speech in real time, answer questions about their surroundings, and more.
  • Partnerships with Spotify and Amazon Music are expanding, with new integrations from Audible and iHeart, offering additional ways for users to listen on the go.

Whether exploring a new city, attending a sporting event, or simply wanting to be more present in daily life, Ray-Ban Meta glasses provide a hands-free way to capture and share moments. With the introduction of new AI capabilities and expanded partnerships, these glasses are becoming even more versatile.

Enhanced AI features

The new AI updates make conversations with Meta AI more seamless. Users can start with the command "Hey Meta" and continue follow-up questions without repeating the phrase. Additionally, asking Meta AI questions about what is being viewed no longer requires the phrase "look and."

Ray-Ban Meta glasses are also gaining the ability to help users remember key details, such as where they parked. Voice commands allow for setting reminders, like texting a family member upon arrival at a destination. Meta AI can now send voice messages via WhatsApp and Messenger, which is particularly useful when users are unable to access their phone.

Video functionality is being integrated with Meta AI to provide real-time assistance. Users can ask for help with identifying landmarks while exploring a new city or seek meal-planning advice while walking through a grocery store. Meta AI will soon be able to translate conversations in Spanish, French, or Italian into English, with more languages planned for future support.

Expanding partnerships to enhance the experience

In partnership with Be My Eyes, Ray-Ban Meta glasses will provide hands-free assistance to blind and low-vision individuals. The app connects them with sighted volunteers who can guide them through various tasks via POV video calling, allowing the volunteer to see and assist in real time.

In addition to advancing integrations with Spotify and Amazon Music, new partnerships with Audible and iHeart are also being introduced. Users can now search for and play music, audiobooks, and other content using voice commands, making entertainment more accessible on the move.

Special edition and transitional lens options

A new limited-edition set of Shiny Transparent Wayfarer frames is being introduced, showcasing the technology within the glasses. This edition emphasizes craftsmanship and innovation. Furthermore, EssilorLuxottica’s UltraTransitions GEN S lenses will now be part of the Ray-Ban Meta collection, offering enhanced adaptability to various lighting conditions.
