Adobe is diving deeper into mobile analysis with updates to its Adobe Analytics program which is offered through the Adobe Marketing Cloud.

With its mobile analytics services, Adobe measures more than 400 billion transactions per quarter via mobile web and app experiences. The new mobile app software developer kit (SDK) enables full access to analyze data collected from mobile apps in Adobe Analytics. A new mobile aspect is GPS location, which enables the ability to serve location-specific content to users based on their location when they access a mobile app.

The mobile analytics program also provides data collection for mobile channels on all major operating systems, dashboards and reports, mobile engagement analysis, mobile campaign analysis, cross-channel analysis, and advanced segmentation data in real time.

Adobe has also updated its In-app Conversion Analysis which is based on conversion metrics such as time spent in an app or what actions a user takes while in that app. This service can help developer understand how users complete key actions such as purchasing an item after first viewing which can be useful in identifying app experiences and provide guidance for improvements in the app.
