Apple cracks down on developers using anything other than text in app store descriptions.

Checkmarks, smiley faces, stars, etc have been used for years by developers to enhance the look of their app store descriptions in hope that they will stand out a little more to app store shoppers. But those days are over says Apple. In another restrictions set forth by the app store giant, they no longer are allowing developers to use special characters of any kind in their app descriptions.
