MEAN stack is a full-stack JavaScript framework based on MongoDB, Express JS, Angular JS and NodeJS, which can help developers rapidly develop applications. By default, the completed deployment includes one development server (virtual machine instance) with the MEAN stack installed:
- MongoDB, a leading NoSQL database
- Express Web Framework, a minimal and flexible node.js web application framework
- AngularJS, an extensible Javascript framework for responsive applications
- NodeJS, a platform built on Chrome’s JavaScript runtime for server-side Javascript
