MYO Wins PopMech Breakthrough Award

Posted on Friday, October 11, 2013 by RICHARD HARRIS, Executive Editor

Hats off to the MYO team (programmable bracelet that tracks arm motion and finger movement to allow for gesture control of almost any computer or mobile device) for being a recipient of The POPULAR MECHANICS 'Breakthrough Awards'!

They announced the winners of its ninth annual Breakthrough Awards today, which recognize the innovators and products that have advanced the fields of technology, medicine, space exploration, automotive design, and more.

The MYO first caught our attention back in February and we've been waiting for the chance to test drive one ever since!

MYO is in good company too, they stand beside other winners such as Curiosity Mars Science Laboratory, Peter Diamandis (Xprize Foundation), General Motors Super Cruise, Xbox One, and a few others.
