Here's How You Can Make Your Apps Run Faster

Posted on Thursday, July 24, 2014 by RICHARD HARRIS, Executive Editor

A poor experience with the app you designed can easily be caused by things beyond your control, like bad cell service or weak or congested wifi networks. If these things impact a user the first time they open your app, chances are good they’ll remove your app from their devices forever.

The good news is, a startup called Kwicr – backed by leading venture capital firms and technology from MIT – is on a mission to prevent that from happening.

To help fine-tune the service they’re creating and give mobile app developers and publishers exactly what they need to improve performance, Kwicr is conducting a survey to learn what, if anything, you’ve tried to combat the issues of downtime and unresponsiveness.

It will take you less than five minutes to answer 15 multiple choice questions about things like the role that wireless networking plays in your apps, how it might impact your business, and the environments you fear most.

As a thank you for your input, you’ll also have a chance to win an iPad, Android tablet, Sonos speaker system or GoPro camera. Kwicr will randomly select five winners who each get to choose from these prizes, so your chances are pretty good.

Through the link below, you can also enter Kwicr’s beta program to begin improving mobile delivery to your app before everyone else. They’ve already got a number of the industry’s leading content providers signed up and are looking for some independent and mid-sized shops too.

Help Kwicr help you. It’ll take less than five minutes and will be well worth your time.
