Intel continues to get closer to app developers as Mashery, an Intel subsidiary, has purchased Hacker League which provides Hackathon support services for event planners and enterprises.

Hacker League services include its submission engine which allows participants to collaborate and upload their hacks for viewing. The company’s registration services facilitate communication with attendees, collect email addresses, and get accurate headcounts. The company also provides custom wiki pages to tell participants and journalists everything they need to know about events.
