Getting beer faster in the Caribbean with F5m tablets

Xplore Technologies Corp.?, a tablet computer manufacturer, has announced that one of the largest beer distributors in the Caribbean has begun using their Motion F5m tablets to track and schedule beer shipments among its 600 delivery trucks in the Dominican Republic. The company is also using F5m tablets to run an inventory control management application on its bottling lines and storage areas for the 20 brands it sells on behalf of its parent company.

“As the primary beer producer in the Dominican Republic and the largest beer distributor in the Caribbean, this customer is responsible for massive volumes of inventory distribution on a daily basis. The 3.3lb, MIL-STD-810G F5m utilizes 5th generation Intel Core processors to quickly move through computation-intensive applications while improving overall power efficiency. The beer distributor is now using the tablet in place of paper to generate and complete work orders in the distribution center and print tickets for the driver while on the loading dock to confirm their current freight information.
