They are throwing out the stops to make sure developers attend the Tizen Developer Conference which has just announced that all attendees of TDC 2014 in San Francisco will receive a free Samsung Gear 2 smart watch and an Intel NUC.

The Giveaway is being sponsored by the Tizen Technical Steering Group, and hosted by the Linux Foundation, and is intended to give developers access to the latest in high-performance wearable and ultra-compact form factor PC devices.

Anyone who registers prior to June 2, including those already registered, can pick up their free Samsung Gear 2 and Intel NUC when they receive their badge at the conference. All that is required is that attendees register prior to June 2 and have a valid driver’s license, passport or government-issued picture ID matching the name on the registration.

Of course, in the midst of all the free stuff, an actual conference will be happening. This is the 3rd annual Tizen Developer Conference which is a technical conference for Tizen developers, app developers, ISVs, platform designers, operators, OEMs, hardware vendors, software vendors, open source enthusiasts, and anyone engaged in Tizen. It will be held from June 2 – 4 at Hilton San Francisco Union Square.

Registration is $99 up to the day of the event, where it increases to $150.
